Got rejected yesterday. Applied to COM. Had a lot of problems with submitting my documents and also I’m an international student. Got my decision just hours after international admissions board finally verified they got one of my documents after months of emailing back and forth. The way my decision came out right away felt suspicious to me but welp

Hi! Im that other person. Basically, the exact same thing happened to me. They letter of rejection was dated dec 6 although it was posted on my portal on dec 7, but an AO confirmed via email that until dec 7 they hadn’t received my college transcript. Its like they rejected me without seeing my grades.
I called and someone from the board of admissions wrote me an email saying that they had all the necessary information in their hands. I replied saying how come you had my transcript on dec 6 when your AO literally told me VIA EMAIL (i have evidence) that the transcript sent by my uni in october was encrypted and that there was no way they could access it, if I could re send it. All of this on Dec 7

Congrats on going to U Mich! If BU administration could so easily mess up the application process, who know what kind of fuss would happen once you go there?
Wow that’s insane. I just checked my decision letter again, and it said Dec 6, even though they only confirmed to me on Dec 7 that they finally received my proof of enrollment (I couldn’t provide a transcript at the time bc I was still in the middle of completing my courses online). I want to email them and ask but I feel like it’s gonna be a whole ordeal and I don’t want to deal w the admissions team again seeing how much of a mess it’s been for the past two months. I thought it was because I was an intl student and they processed my application too late to admit me to attend in January since it’s already December or something. Thanks for letting me know, it somewhat comforts me knowing that I wasn’t alone (even though it still sucks). And congrats on getting into UM!

Thanks!! Definitely email them, though. If we’re not getting in bc they were slow processing apps, i want my $80 back.
If we don’t get something today I’m going to have to stay at my current college, so pissed
i registered for spring classes yesterday because i cant wait anymore, online thankfully.
I’m going to have to enroll too, don’t really want to but there’s not much else I can do. I hope we hear good news today, if not it’s the end for my BU dream
I’m in the same boat. I’m already making a college list for the fall 2022 semester because my parents told me BU isn’t really an option anymore because of finances

Guys somethings up with my portal the menu disappeared and my financial aid paragraph is gone. Hopefully this is a good sign

It came back but the three bars in the top corner. But my financial aid paragraph hasn’t come back.
If we don’t hear back today I might have to pull out my application bc even if I get in making it work is going to be impossible

Okay guys I have a good news! I heard the bu admission team is done with reviewing the early decision applicants, so they will have time to send out transfer decisions now
my friend who graduated from bu has a friend in the admission team and he told me that
