Boston University Transfer Fall 2022

is anyone else missing their college transfer report? my adviser sent it over a month ago. and does anyone know if they will still make a decision without it?

I’m wondering the same thing. I submitted it as part of my Coalition application. The admissions officer I spoke and emailed with had to open a ticket to find it the other day. Still missing on my portal. The TCR for another school I have a transcript for (summer class) was supposed to be waived and it’s still on my portal as missing.

I called admissions office and they said that it takes a while for your portal to update. On my portal it said I was missing my proof of graduation but I sent it back in February. I called about 2 weeks ago and they said they had received the document, but it is April and it still hasn’t been reflected on my portal. My guess is that they don’t regularly update the portal for transfers.
TL;DR
If you have a specific concern about a document call admissions, its likely been received just not updated on the portal.

im sure they still can!! im sorry that happened to you

it’s weird because all my documents got added to my portal within 1-2 days of me sending them and then this one is taking over a month

My documents also took between 2 to 5 days in general

thank you!

My checklist is weird too. I sent my official HS transcript a few months back and they received

it, but it says they want transcripts from two other High schools that I didn’t graduate from. It’s also asking for my college report, which I’ve sent in twice, and it says it wants it three times??? I don’t know anymore, I’m just hoping everything will be alright because I’m kinda just done tbh

hello! yeah it seems like bu is a bit with delayed the documents and etc. Possibly check what they have received because it said they were missing my transcripts but when I checked what they have received, my transcripts were there! For the Transfer College Report, is it three of the same institution? I know personally for me there was one from my current institution and one from my part-time community college which isn’t required.

I’m just kinda over with this transfer process as well lol every single school I applied to is missing at least one document and none of them are in my control  if anything good luck!

so I have sent my passport for 1 month and they haven’t received it yet.

Probably now that they are working with the decisions everything is slower idk

oh oops, i misread your post a bit; for my transcript it was in the required also in the received category at the same time for a bit and then a few days gone by and it disappeared from the required page; i think it’s safe to say to just ignore those two other high school transcript lol

i feel like decisions aren’t going to come today then if they’re this mixed up and delayed

I only ever went to one college so idk. I suppose it’ll be alright because it seems like like have everything in the received section. Thank you!

regarding the high school transcript the same thing happened to me where I sent it in like february and it didnt get approved till like late march. Apparently there are multiple locations for BU so if anything email the admissions the address you sent it and they should be able to find it. Thats what I did.

I read a similar thread from spring 2022 transfer for bu, they didn’t have their transcript received and they still got a decision (rejected) but im not too sure with the timing and waves of decisions, it seems like bu admissions for transfers is somewhat chaotic every year lol im scared ah

chaos in one hour 30 min potentially

if the first wave comes out today, all the decisions of that wave are going to be out at the same time or progressively throughout the day?

It looks like progressive based on last year. Some peeps said 2:10, 2:30, 3, etc Some people got their decisions Thursday morning as early as 11

okay thanks!
