Boston University Transfers Fall 2018

@r3j3ct3d1 Thank you! I hope that means I’ve been accepted as well. And congrats on your acceptance!

My portal changed to 2 paragraphs!

Got rejected

Just got in boys!

Still at two paragraphs

Also sitting on 2 paragraphs

Rejected! (I didn’t get an email, but I checked the portal.)

Still nothing, looks like I’m waiting longer

@TheBrady6 same, did you apply for financial aid? If so, how many paragraphs do you have?

Same. Still 3P. Applied in Feb to Questrom. Highly annoyed

@t0pnotch I have the non custodial parent form left

Here’s what I see

2018/2019 Academic Year

Your application for financial aid is incomplete. The item(s) reported as REQUIRED must be submitted to complete your application.

Please allow 3 to 5 business days for the FAFSA and PROFILE and 5 days for any documents submitted directly to Boston University to appear on our web site. Our deadline applies to the date the FAFSA and PROFILE are received by the processor.

Additional forms may be requested when your application is reviewed. Complete applications are reviewed and notifications are mailed after admission decisions are made.

The following 1 document(s) are REQUIRED and must be received by our office before monies can be awarded or disbursed.

CSS Noncustodial Parent PROFILE
The following 2 document(s) have been RECEIVED by our office.

CSS/PROFILE (03/07/18)
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (03/02/18)

got rejected  good luck to all!

@TheBrady6 Humm alright, i turned in my aid stuff in late. Maybe that’s why we’re still waiting?

I don’t think so. BU still hasn’t received my non custodial parent form thus making my financial aid application incomplete but I was able to get my decision last night.

@slopper101 humm… Well my condolences in that case :/. I guess now we know turning in the financial aid late doesn’t matter.

Also, woke up and found I was found on the waitlist (business admin major). So I guess those are coming out.

@t0pnotch I just got waitlisted for Questrom too.

@TheBrady6 Best of luck! Would you happen to know how many people get off the waitlist for transfer students? The only data set I could find was for freshmen.

I chose to stay on waitlist for Questrom. Why I feel people who say get waitlist are all from Questrom lol

Interesting, I guess since Questrom has now moved onto the waitlist that I will probably be rejected. BU is one of the only universities I know that hands rejections out last - very inconvenient and pointless!!!

Haven’t posted yet on this thread, but I was waitlisted for Questrom. Honestly didn’t think I’d get in, considering I was rejected straightaway last year as a first-year applicant, but we’ll see! Good luck to everyone!
