It says under “transfer credit evaluation” BU Course Equivalent 2 @“FutureIbanker/hfmanager”, but it has all my courses listed above that. Regardless if it two class or two credits, I was hoping that worst case scenario it might be one or two classes that don’t transfer. I emailed them today.
They will give us a decision before june 1 right? Also, do you guys know if they have/can possibly run out of housing for transfers because I applied to a school that is not offering housing to transfers and I really hope that isn’t the case at BU
@sunnyjjj not only do they have guaranteed 4 year housing but all transfers are required to live on campus for their first year so I would say they won’t run out of housing.
all transfers are required to live on campus for their first year??? are you sure about this…because I chose off-campus when I filled out BU application @pink418
Is anyone else that applied to Questrom still on the 3P prompt like me lol
i am too
@Amberrr It isn’t “required” to live on-campus for transferring students.
You can check it here: https://www.bu.edu/housing/living/transfer-students/
It says, “On campus housing for transfer students is not required but strongly recommended.”
However, on-campus housing is guaranteed for transferring students who apply for it.
@msport @northbuff what are your gpas?
@fromma I remember that you had said that you had the alternate version of the 2p which lasts for a long time unlike the most popular version of the 2p which changes from 3p. You are the only one I’ve encountered with that version and I’m wondering what it means. I’ve had it for 1.5 months now after completing my application in early-Feb. Are you an international student or did you select off-campus housing in the CommonApp?
I got waitlisted by BU, argh.
thanks a lot! @fromma
Hm. Waitlisting isn’t common for transfers, is it?
@konjer15 Hi! Yes, I had another version of 2P when I got a decision. I also waited longer than a month with 2P showing up on my portal. I am an international student, however I am transferring to BU from another school in U.S. I chose on-campus housing in the CommonApp.
Finally went down to two paragraphs, yay.
At this point, regardless of whether I get in, I’ll be glad to be able to stop checking.
Anyone get into college of comm with a gpa of 3.6??
I’m tired of my 3 paragraphs. I read that some of you guys called Admissions and asked them to review your app faster. Do you think I should do it? Can it negatively affect my application?
@fromma ok now that might explain it. The second 2p version that you’ve had and I have must be for international students. Do we go through a different process? Weird.
Denied. It was expected though. Good luck to everyone else!
@JohnWick0912 3.9 gpa
@fromma I am in your same situation. International student here, 3.998 GPA and I am still stuck at 2 paragraphs. I requested a waiver for my English Proficiency Exams since I went to an international school, received transfer credit for writing 101 AND writing 102 from highschool and they rejected my request to waive the english requirement. I’m waiting on a conditional decision contingent on my TOEFL exams but it seems like they are just waiting for me to submit them. I’ve been stuck at 2 paragraphs since April so best of luck to everyone still waiting!
