At this point, I think I should just move on. Complaining won’t help anything, nothing will change. The reality is cruel, for those people who are waiting for decisions, best luck.
Agree, it’s frustrating but healthier if you just let go and move on. What is frustrating is rejections seem to come last. They SHOULD come first.
It must be a reason to came at the end, they might considered it for long time, however I appreciate their evaluation but it is what it is. Did you apply other schools? Or did you get accepted by other schools?
I agree with you guys I applied to over 20 schools and got rejected from 18 of them. One thing I realized is that this is an extremely competitive world. I know it’s disappointing to see rejections but we can’t do anything about it. All we can do is work hard in the future and learn from this experience. I am an immigrant and came to the US for hs. I thought they some college might give me a chance bc I also come from a low-income household. But guess what no one did. Ik it isn’t fair and so is life. All we can do is be a better version of ourselves and work hard. I hope this was a learning experience for everyone regardless of u getting in or not.
P.s. I got into BU but rejected from all other schools including my dream school.
@Eric738377 @“FutureIbanker/hfmanager”
I’m on the waitlist for UVA, fairly sure i’ll get into GWU, and got into AU(safety).
I’m also waiting on Northeastern and BU. I was denied from Cornell, Georgetown, NYU, and Northwestern. I definitely can relate and agree with you that it might have been a harder choice for them since they waited so long. They requested my midterm grades in April and i’m still waiting (BU).
That being said, regardless of where you go, it will work out and you can accomplish anything you set your mind to from any university. @“FutureIbanker/hfmanager” BU is easily comparable to schools like USC and NYU, I wouldn’t sweat it. At Questrom, you will have plenty of opportunities to break into IB, and then you can go to your dream school for a graduate degree! Best of luck to those who do not have responses yet, and to those going elsewhere.
Does anyone know how to find an online counselor that can help students for applications? It’s frustrating that my current college counselors don’t know what they are doing everyday.
Hey! I’m kind of having trouble finding a roommate atm. Any tips? I’ve tried using the BU search on the Housing application but it doesn’t seem like many people are using it… I don’t have a fb so that won’t help me.
Yea so any advice? Or have any of you already found a roommate or are you guys still looking for one?
@Eric738377 You should be fine without one, I applied to BU and other colleges without a counselor.
Has anyone who applied to Questrom still not heard back - it is getting very frustrating . Does anyone know if there is anything one can do to hear back faster???
I’ve applied to Questrom. Was asked for a midterm report in early April, never heard back. I wish I had another choice so I could just withdraw, but also still waiting on NEU, GWU, and UVA (waitlist) crying emoji
@JohnWick0912 i don’t think at this point anything would speed the process up. I heard we’re guaranteed to hear by June?
I have been accepted and am attending BU this fall. Looking for a roommate still. Also, I need into the Facebook group, still haven’t been allowed in.
I’m still looking for a roommate as well.
Has anyone still not received credit evaluations? How many credits are transferring for you? It is sooo confusing…
@msport Best of luck. Seen you around for a while and it’s disappointing to see you have not heard back yet.
@r3j3ct3d1 thank you. Wish you the best!
Anyone hear back yet? Still waiting for CAS to respond. Thinking about calling although I’m certain the rest of us waiting all got in!
i am still waiting and @collegegaiden why do you say that you think we all got in if we’re still waiting?
@collegegaiden what makes you certain we got in? By the looks of it, BU hasn’t even sent out a Wave of denials yet.
I’m waiting for Questrom
I’m just certain haha, idk why but I’m super confident simply because BU has had a 50% acceptance rate for transfers for the past 3 years. Idk about you but I’ve flipped a coin and it landed on me getting in lol.
@collegegaiden i got into NE and they are pretty similar to BU so maybe haha. honestly though this waiting is crazy… if i don’t find out in the next week or two i don’t care lol
