Bowdoin accepts pathological liars

<p>OK, yes, I agree, the title of this thread, while technically correct, is a little misleading. However, this article (linked below) indicates just how crazy the college application process has become - for some. The thread title did get your attention. </p>

<p>I am just curious how he got ACT or SAT scores submitted on his behalf, not to mention a transcript from Exeter. And how much does one want to get caught when you start applying for prizes and awards? He was begging to get caught and Bowdoin is probably just happy to have gotten rid of the guy when it was only “academic dishonesty.”</p>

<p>It’s crazy how he got through the gates of Bowdoin and Harvard and that it took them this long to figure it out. I wonder how many others like him are out there.</p>
