So I submitted my application to Bowdoin (Regular Decision) a few weeks ago, but I never got an email confirming that they had received my application and giving me information to set up an account. Is this normal?
Also, I never scheduled an interview with them (I am from Wisconsin). Will this be an issue?

I got an email soon after submitting saying “Your Bowdoin Application Update” so maybe you should contact them to see if they got your app. If there is an alumni interviewer near you, then you should’ve interviewed (deadline was dec 5, and it was up to you to schedule one)
My friend who also applied RD said that she got an email a while back saying that RD applicants would get their account information AFTER the deadline. (This is what just what she told me I didn’t see the actual email.) I haven’t gotten mine either though but the admissions office could still be on break, so I’m going to email sometime this school week if I don’t get one.
@lottechar: Thanks, that’s good to know. You’re probably right about them being on break.
@Cicero1 I know that their system froze and stopped sending out confirmation emails. (It says on their facebook admissions page). If you don’t receive anything within the next few days, I would contact them to check and see!

I just received an email but the system won’t accept my invitation code. I’ll have to try again later.
I emailed my state’s admissions counselor and received confirmation in less than an hour. You might want to try that unless it was pure coincidence (sounds like some other people just got theirs).
