To pass the time, what did you pick for the supplement?
I did connection to place. It was really mellow and not super revealing, but I hope it was along the lines of what they were asking for.
@Hatscatshatscats I chose the connection to place as well. Part of mine was general and the other personal, but nothing too great. It’s so difficult with so few words to work with!
@juniperann That sounds like mine, and I completely agree. Word limits made my life hellish during application season.
I chose Connection To Place too! I wrote about connection to place being more of an abstract idea as opposed to a physical place.

How important is/was the interview?
Did they even interview internationals?
@elizabethcount I did not. Nor did I visit, too far. Does anyone know if Bowdoin keeps track of who visits or how important the interview is?

I didn’t write about connection to place because I felt like everyone would choose that one… Looks like I was kinda right lol chose the intelligence one, I had an alumni interview that went just ok, the interviewer was not very personable
i also choose the intellectual engagement one…but i didn’t really feel it tho, was kind of absurd to me but all the same i think it was okay not bad not exceptional
