I thought I was awesome at Japanese until I saw this test, and I take it in a week with VERY limited kanji and according to the practice test I took, pretty terrible grammar skills in the usage section.

How can I learn like 200 kanji this week?

You can’t. Not in addition to school.
Reschedule it or just take the test to get the flavor and do better next time.

Maybe it’s still possible if you can write Chinese.

^ lol… Someone surely doesn’t know how Japanese works…

I’m taking it and I have roughly 170 kanji under my belt… And I’M intimidated. I can speak with good accent/tense, so hopefully that helps.

SAT jpn is suppossed to be HS level. I’m taking AP Japanese test in May which is 410 kanji.
Q.Q

What my teacher does is have a test on five a week, then a cumulatuve test monthly. It should get through another 50-60, leaving me at 225- just half if the AP level.

Kanji is cumulative like vocab. Kids learn em in Japan in HS even, so you’re just out of luck. Its best to get gramar and some vocab so you can guess better.
