...Boys are Weird...

I dunno about curly, but the girls freaked when I cut my hair. It was so straight people didnt believe i didnt straighten it.

The only reason girls "freak out" is to get your attention. Unless you're our boyfriend or an EXTREME crush or something, I don't think girls care what your hair looks like. :)

OMG whenicomearound!
I saw RENT yesterday and I immediately developed a crush on MARK!
I just love those dorky-cute guys like Adam Brody... lol lol
I also usually fall for guys who are funny - but most of the time it's intelligent humor, as in they have to be witty, over stupid humor. I love witty guys! They have to be smart in some form... and usually I fall for the really cocky ones
.. my friend who's majoring in psychology says it's because I'm a nice person and I want to help them... but I think it's more because the cocky ones have so much going for them and so that's why they are cocky, and that's also why I like them because they're so great in so many ways
Also... I tend to like more outgoing guys -- I'm really shy around strangers and people I don't know that well... so in that case opposites attract?
MOst of the guys I like also sometimes are asses... but overall they are nice guys... esp. the one I'm crushing on now... he pretends to be an ass... I guess he thinks it's cool? IDK
I love green eyes though! omg... swoon... but I also fall for those who have amazing blue eyes.

Personally, I have some kind of hair fetish...I ADORE boys with long, thick, pretty hair. It seems like the common denominator of every guy I've liked...well, that and nice eyebrows.

I also can't stand guys who take things too seriously. I know that this differs between people, because my best friend loves the serious "strong and silent" types. I, however, need a sense of humor in guys. I love the outgoing one's, the one's who pull pranks every now and then, who aren't perverted but know enough dirty jokes to make you roll on the floor in laughter.

And with the cocky issue....it's only funny if you know that he's joking about it. I love when guys pretend they're all arrogant, but when they actually believe that they're superior, it becomes a major turnoff.

This is what worked for me, in order to figure out exactly what I wanted in a guy: A few weeks ago, I made a list of 37 items that were just about necessary in any guy that I'd have a romantic interest in. You know, stuff like "no drugs, must make an effort to get along with my annoying relatives, must respect my dislikes, must not spoil me," and a FEW physical things, like "must be taller than me, must have nice hair." Of course, few guys will ever hit every single one on your list. But hey, there will be some who score enough. I mean, my best friend's brother got 32 out of 37....hmmmm...future soulmates? LOL

Thats what I need to do! Right them all down! lol. Good idea! I think everyone has one of those "Secret lists".

Which came first? The guy was hot so you liked him? You liked him so the guy got hot?

an interesting question. im rather shallow in that ive never liked someone who i found unattractive. sometiimes, though, i start liking someone ok-looking but they just begin to look so much hotter in my eyes because of their personality. i love love the funny-smart-dorky-slighty arrogant guys. takeme2cali- yeah, same exact description. i love nice hair...like you know pierre from simple plan? i love his hair. his music not so much.
also, im up for boy hunting, especially if mark- and ive now learned his name is anthony rapp- is on the agenda.

what do you think the ratio of boys:girls is on cc? or do you think its just very distorted on this thread called boys are weird?

Honestly, outside of threads like this, you really don't have many clues as to gender (except for some obvious tip-off-usernames). I'd say that it's threads like these that kinda give you a representative sample of who else's out there on CC. On other threads, I find myself trying to be as PC as possible b/c I have no idea who's what L :D L ! I'm always using the "s/he" and "him/her" etc. But you can generally tell from the way they write (there are exceptions). For those of you who haven't read my posts yet, what gender am I? Can you tell from this post alone? What about my username? I'd like to see the replies :) Hope y'all had a great Thanksgiving!!

i know your a guy... but the L:DL definitely screams girl

a really smart guy who uses proper punctuation...

Haha, thanks and thanks.. I really didn't mind that... b/c we all have masculine and feminine sides. I did that to prove a point. Thanks for the compliment on my punctuation ;) it was much appreciated! I think my use of ellipses is a little out of hand though.... don't you?

Can one ever use enough ellipses...:o...:D...I think not

LOL.... I sure think so.... you've never had an AIM convo with me.... lol they all beg me to stop at some point.... (with the ellipses that is) :D....

.... ;)

Does my username sound more like a boys or a girls? (If you saw it for the first time?)

I can't say Goldfish. But I would think guy I think. But it's hard since we chat on here a lot so I'm well accustomed to your ways ;)

i love the 3 dots, they complete your thought without you having to come up with a witty remark. a lovely thing for a lovely lazy person.
and yes, i call them 3 dots. i actually just found out last week that they were called ellipses.
kowinkydink?
i...er...think so.

oo me next me next-
what about my username!

Ha...
...

whenicomearound- I first thought you a girl

I know everyone thinks I'm a guy at first becuase of the brian in celebrian! :D

Hey whenicomearound, this is the first post of yours I've ever read.. and I must say girl.... completely w/o a doubt a girl. Don't ask... it's just obvious to me!
