I don't like jerky guys, I mean there's a difference between some degree of cockiness and being a jerk. I like nice guys a lot, and I think there's a misconception that a guy can't be nice and cocky and outgoing. There seems to be this myth that nice means shy, and personally, I can be shy, but I prefer outgoing guys.

Girls like to be in control of situations and when some stubborn guys come along and challenge their authority, they immediately become attracted. However, if a guy is nice, then the girls don't really notice because there are so many easy-to-get or pussy guys walking down the streets of the world today. On the other hand, when an obnoxious and opinionated guy walks down a girl's way, he immediately cather her attention. This immediate sense of mystery helps establish a shaky relationship among the sexes that is based one sex(usually the girl) tring to uncover and reform the other one to reassert her dominance and knowledge.

It's quiite simple reaaallly!!!(annoying British accent);)

i'd rather have a "pussy" nice guy than a pushy thicknecked jerkass any day. i guess western "rugged" society demands the male to be aggressive and the female to be simpering and false.

Purrli nailed it. Individualist, male-centirc culture = dominant men are the ideal.

I love it!!!!!

And yes, I htink anything would be better than a "pushy thicknecked jerkass"

I hate to say it, but this emphasis on the uber dominant male seems to result in women with abusive men (not necessarily violent, but pyschologically abusive).

I've seen it happen so many times. I've been dumped for guys like that. They treat the girl like crap. And honestly there arent that many nice guys out there. I hate that about girls.

Yeah. I don't know where all these "pussies" are. Hell, seems no one respects women, and when I do, I'm the weirdo because I don't put on some "Danny Zuko" image to be tamed by a women so that I'm basically in the same position that I started in, under the control of a woman. There's no harmony. Just a burst of male chauvanism that will be covered with slow female dominance as the man fades away to nothing. Man can go insane, but usually just dies earlier.

Oh boy, talk about carthasis! Sorry, continue on.

There are tons of nice guys out there. And there are tons of not nice guys out there. But girls don't go to the guys who are mean, intentionally. Maybe its because most of the mean ones are good looking?

To which I reply, sociobiology! You make the mean ones hot.

i generally act like a guy in that im not very emotional and my sense of humour is pretty dark.
but i just went to Rent and felt extremely girly, since first of all i pretty cried for a nice part of it (tearing up! tearing up!) and also i have a massive crush on the guy who plays mark.
so there you go. and i need to meet more nice boys. nice boys where are you?! and by nice, i dont mean pushovers...just a nice guy.

whenicomearound-we shall go boy hunting together!!!!

or perhaps the hot ones are primped by their cultures to be mean and bossy, because they know women'll keep flocking to them anyways. it's an interesting correlation.

Holds a giant target over his head

hah.

Well a lot of times someone becomes hot to me because I'm attracted to their personality.

Which came first? The chicken or the egg?

Which came first? The guy was hot so you liked him? You liked him so the guy got hot?

I guess this is the same with girls too.

Well both situations are true with me. I'd say equally half and half :D

i think for a lot of guys its hotness first, then we look at personality. We can't help what catches our eye

I used to be a jerk in grades 9 and 10 but then some girl reformed me into a "pussy" guy as you all say.. the worst part was that she would tell me to do something and ill be like no and try to act all hard and end up doing it anyway, it was quite sad actually

Hey, girls (and I guess Jon's input would help)! What's hotter, short hair or somewhat long curly/wavy hair? My hair doesn't grow long and straight, just gets curly.
