Boys State

I just got accepted into Boys State!

I know the basics about Boys State and what they do but I want to get an inside perspective. Specifically I want to know if it was extremely competitive for the state government positions: particularly, I'm looking at Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Senator, and State Supreme Court Justice vs attorney (doesn't matter for which side)

If any of you have experience running for these offices and being elected into one please describe the process so I can understand how it all works out from an inside perspective:

If you want to know what I'm looking for specifically here's a list:
1. Did you have many other people running for the same office?
2. Did everyone who signed up and ran for an office get at least some position whether they like it or not?
3. Was it demanding to be in your position?
4. How does the campaign exactly work if you ran for governor, lieutenant governor, and Senator?? (if Senator you run for something...)

Thanks

What state are you attending? I got selected as well and am curious about this as well…
