So for those who don’t know, people who go to a branch campus for a year get a guaranteed transfer into Columbus if they have at least a 2.0 GPA.

Anyone know if this is worth it? I’m not sure if I’ll be accepted into OSU and I’m wondering whether to go to a branch campus or transfer from a different college.

A benefit of attending a branch campus is a smoother transfer: you can take classes that you know will fulfill graduation requirements at OSU, thus saving time.

A lot of people enter college set on transferring elsewhere, but end up liking it and staying. I think it’s worth trying other colleges, if you’re interested, though the branch campuses are great schools in their own rights.
