Branch night

Yup--My D and her roomates bloodpinned each other. Got the pic---looks painfull.

At my nomination interviews there was a first class cadet talking to everyone, I guess to cool their nerves, I was the first interview so I did't get to talk to her till after. My dad talks to everyone so he was talking to her when I came out. She was very excited she got her first pick, aviation. She was very nice and it was great to see that the senators got a cadet to come visit us candidates.

It’s branch night for the class of 2010! Best wishes to all the Firsties.

@aspen,

I know this is obviously like 4 years after this thread has stopped, but can you provide any detail on how competitive it was for your son to obtain Military Intelligence, possibly his % rank in the class, and what made him pick it.

I will be attending West Point, leaving for it this summer, and I am interested in MI.

Thanks so much (if you receive this)!

Christiano, there are usually around 50-60 or so that choose it, not wildly popular as infantry and aviation. Go to serviceacademyforums.com for some good advice.
