brand names at U of M

Do people wear billabong and old navy at U of M? I have a bunch of these clothes that I don't know what to do with.

People wear everything. It is very diverse.

Sure they do. I would donate the clothing, though.

oh ok. I guess I’ll bring a few.

Wait, why does it matter what brands others wear, just wear what you want?

Who cares? Just wear what you wanna wear, dude. It’s college.

I think he is saying he is going to give it away or sell it or something.

Ahh, haha, gotcha. Philanthropy.

If the clothes are in nice shape, take them to one of those retail outlets like Plato’s Closet or shops that do clothing consignment and the like. Why give 'em away when you can walk away with cash in your pocket? :P

Ya, **** the homeless

Y’know, if you’re a proponent of that, that’s fine, suggest it. By all means. But do you really have to be a ****** and spark a political debate in a forum where it’s completely inappropriate? :/

lol, ya I was completely serious

You can wear sweatpants and a white t shirt every day to class and not get a hair cut and no one will care…its college, wear whatever you want. Preppy, hood, normal, its all here at michigan.

yeah i would agree with Entertainer, on weekdays going to class, hoodies and sweatpants are the norm, but for weekends and going out, Polo, Lacoste, Vineyard Vines, and North Face

a few wear billabong, but you won’t see many wearing old navy, the style of clothing is preppy in general

^Just to demonstrate how diverse the demographic is on campus, I would have never listed Lacoste or Vineyard Vines amongst the brands I see people wearing when they go out. For East Coast frat guys that may be more the style, but if you don’t go greek you don’t see them anymore after freshman year.

Wear whatever you want. People tend to dress up a little nicer when going out, but that may just be a nice shirt and jeans. I’m pretty sure most of my friends on campus didn’t own any Lacoste or Vineyard vines; I certainly don’t.

The only thing they typically do not wear is anything of a pukey green shade that contain images that might be interpreted as an effeminate gladiator.

I would just wear OSU apparel.

I’ll make sure to hit up a sports shop here at home before i leave and stock up on osu stuff

You should just wear footie pajamas all day.
