Please help me decide which school to attend for Economics! I will pay Out of State for Ohio state and UW-Madison,but there is 6600 scholarships from Ohio state University.
The most important factors are overall academic experience, student life (housing, dining, extracurriculars), job placement, and best value for tuition!
Thanks for all the help and info you can give!

I'd eliminate Wisconsin. Ohio State and Wisconsin are very similar schools and it doesn't make sense to spend 6600 more for Wisconsin per year.

Brandeis is a very good school. It has almost nothing in common with Ohio State. Do you qualify for financial aid? Brandeis has an average grant of $23,806 making costs comparable to Ohio State.

If you will receive aid, I would definitely visit each school and decide which fit works for you. If you can't do that, read reports on the Princeton Review, watch videos on The U, etc. If you don't receive aid, then go to Ohio State.

I think you could fit the entire Brandeis student body into one large lecture at The Ohio State U (I'm exaggerating, but not by much). Serious, how does one compare a school of 3000 undergrads with one of the largest universities in the country? Virtually everyone at Brandeis would be in an honors program at large universities like OSU or Wisconsin. If money is not a major issue, and you can live without big-time sports, then Brandeis is the clear choice in my book.
