I posted this before but I want to discuss my situation further…

While reputation is not as important as what you make of but I don’t think it does not matter at all either. That said, I really need to get a clear idea where the schools in which I admitted rank. Again, this is subjective but I just want to get rough idea. Here are the list of schools I got into:

Mt. Holyoke

Brandeis

McGill

Bryn Mawr

First, many people, including my counselor, said that Mt. Holyoke and Bryn Mawr are reputationally the same as McGill (I got into all of these).

I also heard that Brandeis has very good reputation although it’s smaller than school like McGill.

I also heard that McGill does not require any test from international students; I “heard” that it accepts almost all people with 90 - 94 GPA. (please correct me if I’m wrong). Does it mean McGill does not require any test from Canadians either? Although princeton review says its acceptance rate is 43%, I feel like it accepts almost all people who rank within 10%…

Despite all these highly skeptical rumors about McGill, many claim that it is regarded “almost” the same as Ivy Leagues in the U.S. Is it believable?

Please correct me anything I said wrong. Thanks.
