is brandeis predominantly jewish…?

Brandeis is approximately 55% Jewish. But of those at least half, maybe more (I don't know any hard numbers here) are pretty sectarian. The school does honor the Jewish holidays and vacations are oriented around them (e.g. Passover rather than Easter). But it's a pretty culturally diverse campus and the students and admin pride themselves on tolerance.

its jewish population is high compared to many other schools. like collegedad said they observe jewish holidays and such but many of the jewish are pretty sectarian.

dude jewish people are in all the top schools.....not too big of a difference between brandeis and so man of the other schools....i visited and it was pretty diverse so its ur call

lol no dont get me wrong...i just heard it was like a jewish school, its kinda like...a muslim kid goin to notre dame, just isnt common...lol i dont have anything against jewish people...im just straightening out the facts

I think that Brandeis was originally just Jewishm but that ended a long time. Not sure, though.

Brandeis is a nonsectarian Jewish-sponsored college. That means is that while it is Jewishly sponsored, it is a culturally and ethnically diverse community. There are groups for everyone, as well as a large Jewish population, from all denominations.
