Break housing for international students

Hey guys, I'm an incoming international student and I'm still unsure whether or not I want to choose Break Access Housing. For this SLO, the school only assigns the following dorms: Pollock Housing Area (Hartranft, Mifflin), South Halls (McElwain), and Eastview Terrace (Miller, Young). My concern is that I might miss out on the freshman experience by not choosing East...

Is there a lot of international kids in East? If so, what do they usually do during university breaks such as thanksgiving, when the dorms are closed?

Thanks!

If you don’t live in break housing, you have to live elsewhere for Thanksgiving, winter and spring breaks; a friend’s apartment or a hotel, or you fly home.

Pollock and South have plenty of freshmen, and the location is better than East. (Freshmen aren’t assigned to Eastview, so it’s not really a choice for you) You’ll be fine in either place.
