Hi all Stanford SCEA applicants of 2008! I just finished submitting my application tonight and WHAT A RELIEF. Now we wait for results...

Anyway, feel free to post your thoughts, feelings, or anxieties!

Feels good. It was strange, but as soon as I finalized the credit card payment, I got the first touch of nervousness about the actual decisions. My nervousness about getting it in it time was only replaced by nervousness about the decisions.

I sent supplement, and then the main common app. What order/process did you guys use to send it in?

I sent Main...then Supplement.

dsm3, I know how you feel! I didn't worry about admission results at all until I had paid the application fee and said to myself, "so now I wait.......". haha

I agree with you guys. Here I was anxious to finish everything up, and now that I have, I am just as anxious as before, except now for the decision.

Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

HAHA only now, at 12:37 a.m., did I just realize I said "Breath a sigh" instead of "Breathe a sigh"

well, I'm glad it's not just me! I'm just a mom, not even an applicant, and I worried away till my daughter sent in her apps, and then I realized I had nothing to do but worry about the outcome. And since she has sent in her RD apps as well, I REALLY have nothing to do till then... :)

i still ahve to send in both.....and my recs and order my ACT scores

Haha...I just mine in as well XD. It does feel good. I'm not really that nervous right now. What comes will come. Maybe this will change when decision notification date approaches. YAY XDDD

Just a quick question: Does Stanford have some place online where you can check your application status? Like whether they got everything?

frutispice, I'm afraid that, at this point, the answer is no, which is really very inconvenient.

frutiaspice,

I called and they said that it takes about 2 weeks to input all data received and then they will send you an e-mail if anything is missing (around mid Nov). So it looks like we just sit and wait. As long as the app is in they are good with that. They will give addt'l time if anything is missing to get it to them.

ahhh I feel so incredibly relieved. It felt very good to press that submit button.

I submitted my app over two weeks ago, but I'm still stressing out about it. Had to head down to guidance today to make sure they ACTUALLY sent my transcripts (they did!).

Now...a month and a half of waiting.

Alright, thanks for answering Ailey and guitars :)

I just sent in my app!! YAY!! It's postmarked 1 AM online submission, but that should be fine, right?

I'm so glad my stanford app is done :)......i sent it like 2 weeks ago but spent that time worrying about it becuz Stanford didn't download my supplement until yesterday!

i submitted mine this morning, it sure does feel good to be done

Stanford still hasn't d/l my supplement
been done for a week
but no fee waiver sent until today

From what I've read, Stanford is slow on downloading supplements...

Hey, so. I just sent in my app (but my anxiety isn't over yet!)

It says the date submitted was "11/2" even though it's still November 1st, 9:20 pm here on the west coast. Do you think it matters?
