If I might presume to speak on behalf of Princeton alumni, best wishes to all of you waiting for your decisions from Princeton! I'm sure you are a bit tense. Relax, take a deep breath and remember that life offers many paths to success.

Good luck and best wishes.

I know this is probably the exactly opposite of the reponse you sought to ellicit, but do you remember when you were mailed a letter?

thanks PtonGrad - I will pass this advice on to DS! We are thankful that S has so many great choices so far with scholarship $ - Princeton is the last great unknown! Since S is one of the poor "schlumps" according to Byerly that applied RD to Princeton, we realize that it is a huge long shot, not because he is not supremely qualified, but because of the sheer # of qualifed applicants. Alas, we had to compare finanacial offers - fact of life I guess. By the way, Byerly, you are very right with the advice to apply ED if you can! :)
