Hi All,

I am considering bring my car on campus, however, I understand there are plenty of modes of transporation (shuttles) and most things people will need are within walking distance (food/the beach). Do you all recommend bringing the car or is it not necessary at all.

Thanks,

it’s very useful but not necessary.

I would highly suggest Not bringing one. If you do, the most of the time it will be sitting all the way out in the parking lots past scripps hospital. Especially since they are opening around 1000 new undergrad housing options in revelle and muir apartments next year, and they just keep decreasing student parking spaces, it really will just be a hassle and cost you at least 700 dollars for the year, and that might be more next year because they do not have the student permit up on the website anymore.
