bringing doll to college

<p>would it be ok to bring a baby doll ive had since i was 3 with me to college?
would people make fun of me or break it?</p>

<p>I have my teddy bear on the bed with me, looking pretty snazzy with his sunglasses. I cuddle with him during the night.</p>

<p>So no, it’s not weird. If someone makes fun of it, tell them to shove it.</p>

<p>For a girl I don’t think it’s weird at all. I was afraid someone would rip my stuffed dog to be mean but he made it through the first year unscathed. :stuck_out_tongue: I brought my dog (who I have also had since I was 3) who lives on a shelf because he is too fragile to be handled now, and a bear from my fiance that lives on my bed. Nobody has ever made fun of me and I actually often get compliments from other girls who then tell the story of the stuffed animal or doll they brought, too.</p>

<p>I’d rather bring a taxidermied bear but that’s just me.</p>

<p>No lie, one of my friends freshman year actually had a stuffed armadillo that had a tiny cowboy hat and a tiny holster for the tiny fake pistol it was posed as drawing out. He swore the thing was real and I didn’t know enough about armadillos to call him out on it.</p>

<p>I have multiple stuffed animals…two dogs, a bear, and a leopard. Nobody cares.</p>

<p>My roommates and I all have a stuffed animal, and it’s fine. Don’t worry. :)</p>

<p>Is it ok for guys to have stuffed animals in college? I have one now (shhh don’t tell any of my friends) and if i cant have my cat in college it would be nice to have something to sleep with.
And girls are suposed to like dolls and stuffed animals so why would anyone make fun of you for having them?</p>

<p>I brought four ~adorable~ stuffed animals (and I purchased one here). I also have a giant shark that I hug when I sleep. Nobody minds (maybe the shark is a bit too much though, haha). Hell, I’d haul my whole collection here if there were more space to place them in.</p>
