Bringing someone to orientation

Is anyone doing this? I called and asked if it was okay to and the lady said it was not encouraged, but we're allowed to. Did anyone do so for the 23rd/24th orientation? Were they forced to sit outside due to overcrowding or such?

I think everyone who’s registered for orientation get’s a nametag that has to be visible at all times… so if you do bring a friends which I find totally rad to tag a friend along – especially to go out at night and jump on all the free stuff (shirts, mugs, etc.). Do it!! Only they probably couldn’t stay in the dorm unless you were really awesome and sneaky about it and your three day roommate doesnt care.

If I could do orientation all over again, I’d smuggle a friend! >:D

Haha well my friend’s riding up with me to help navigate me around and we’re staying at my cousin’s apartment but my cousin isn’t going to be home until night which is why I want my friend to tag along- so she doesn’t have to wander Austin by herself. Do we have a lot of free time at orientation?
