Not enormous boxes, just the typical moving box type deal?

I'm not bringing too many shoes. 2 pairs of heels (it's too sad to not have any!), 2 pairs of flats, a few flip flops, slipons, and running shoes.

My stuff would probably only require two people to carry at the same time (though we don't, since it would be too heavy/too much work). I'm not sure what size your boxes are, but nine sounds ridiculous. If you have the means to take care of all your stuff, then you're probably fine, but moving in/out might be a real hassle.

This is what i did. I got laundry done up, so all of my clothes were clean. Then as the month went by i put the clothes i'd worn in a different closet, and weeded out the clothing i don't wear a whole lot. I'm basically down to hoodies, t's, jeans, some pajama pants, socks, undies, bras, and a couple dressy tops. Good enough for me.

^Not all of us have an extra closet (I'm using 2 right now and could use a third lol), so Oprah says that you should hang your hangers the wrong way in your closet and whenever you wear it and hang it back up you put it back in correctly. Then at the end of a month, you get rid of (or you don't take) those still hanging backwards. Then you should throw in a few dressy items for special occasions.
