Is anyone getting ready to read the third Christopher Paolini novel, Brisingr? I've heard of a group of mostly high school and college students who now do analysis of each new Paolini novel as it comes out, as part of online discussion of writing technique. I'm all for anything that gets more teens excited about writing. What novels do you like to read?

harry potter
warriors (a series abut warrior cats)
graphic novels
some mangas

Paolini's the one from Montana, right? I used to live 20 minutes away from were he grew up. I've never actually read any of his books though.

I read pretty much everything. Memoirs of a Geisha was really good. Oh, and anyhting by Grisham, Brad Meltzer, or Nance is awesome. :)

Yes, Paolini grew up and still lives in Montana.

I've never heard of Brisingr, sorry...

As for reading honestly I don't read very much, especially novels. Up to now I can say I've read really little (one book this year if that makes some perspective); I've never really liked reading and the importance of it, etc.

Now though I'm slightly more reading, and this may be awkward but I get most of my reading done through random articles for sports, music, and gaming (i've been reading such articles at least 3 times a week, 20 minutes a day...so an hour a week of reading?). Some might say that's retarded, but if I don't do this my reading/writing level would be already lower than it is. Occasionally a couple books, but on books I'm not to much into..
