I was accepted to MSU, though the concern I have as a business major is job placement. Especially from a school in Michigan. The other school I am looking at is University of Cincinnati which have a nationally respected co-op program that definitely helps in securing jobs after graduation.

Does MSU have anything like that? Or does anyone know any job placement stats?

thanks.

Can I just tell you that you go to the Career Gallery (the largest annual career fair at MSU) and I’d say 80% of the companies there are looking for business majors? You will have no problem in securing a job if you have a decent GPA and good communication skills. MSU also recruits HEAVILY in supply chain management if that is a business major you are interested in (it has the 2nd best supply chain management program in the country, 2nd only to MIT). I don’t know exact statistics, but Broad has a pretty solid alum/career prep department (according to my friends in Broad). And in terms of alum-connections and overall reputation/academics, MSU has Cincinnati beat.
