Hello, first time user here.
I am currently a senior in high school looking at colleges in California with a broadcast journalism major. I found that both CSUN and CSULB have the major but I want to know which is better.
Thanks
Apply to both and see where you are accepted before trying to decide which is better. You may not have a choice when admission decisions are released.
I have no first hand knowledge in regards to the major, but both schools are very good.
You might want to look at the course requirements for each school in the broadcast journalism major to see if there is any differences in concentration or courses more to your liking found in one school vs. the other.

I agree - apply to both but, they are more selective than many think. What are your stats?
Wasn’t it CSUN that only admitted from their service area last year?
Yes^^^
Chapman University’s broadcast journalism program is outstanding. Have you check it out?
Thank you for the reply! My cumulative GPA is around 3.6 and I got a 1600 on the SAT, but will be taking it again. Nothing stellar but I have a leadership position in band and volunteer with children with autism.
I would love to attend Chapman but I have a military benefit that would pay for my tuition as long as I attend a UC or CSU. I also don’t think my grades are good enough. Thank you for replying!
