Even though I don’t respond very often (sooooo busy) I love reading this! It makes me so excited that all of you are so pumped for Brown 
And Tetrisfan – that is possibly my favorite song right now! Great choice. </p>
<p>So, is everyone assuming that decisions are released on the 15th? And do we get an e-mail or is it just safe to check the application status website like every four seconds?</p>

<p>Last year, decisions came out on the 11th. In 2007, they came out on the 13th. Thursdays both. Judging by that, decisions <em>ought</em> to come out on the 10th this year. Fingers crossed! Anyway, I emailed the admissions office asking them if the release date has been fixed yet, so I should hear back by Monday. But I think they’ll definitely send us an email with the proper date and time.</p>
<p>I’ve been checking application status website daily since I submitted my application. I never have an expectation of seeing anything, but I’m just insane like that.</p>

<p>17 days or less… this is so crazy… just thinking about opening my email one day and having a Brown email in my inbox gives me the shivers…
I wonder how long it will take me to build up the courage to actually click on it when that day comes…</p>
<p>Do they send us an email <em>with</em> our decision, or are we gonna be furiously refreshing our page on the Brown server?</p>
<p>Well, last year it seems like they knew the exact time and just went on their account. I’m guessing they got an email too, though. And ofc a real letter in the mail.
By the way, is this our obsessive results countdown thread, or will there be a fresh one? Can’t believe you guys managed to get to page 63 this soon lol.</p>
<p>Last year we went directly to our account to receive our decision. The table that summarizes the documents that they’d received from us had a link to a letter. There was no email although they sent us a paper letter as well. But again, could be different this year. Check your account; a week before the decision date, they posted instructions on when and where we could receive our decision.</p>
<p>This is our all-in-one thread! When the time comes, we’ll make a separate (untainted :p) thread to post decisions on.</p>

Tetrisfan noticed that last year decisions came out on a Thursday, as did the ones of the year before that. This year, the 10th of December is the Thursday before the 15th.
Last year they came out on the 11th.</p>
