<p>my distaste for rent has to do with the fact that i have a drama friend who saying that she is obsessed with rent would not do her justice. let’s just say she’s seen the actual show somewhere around 20 times, not to mention how often she listens to it and talks about it.
thus, after hearing the “music” of rent too many times that is healthy for a human, it is now an assail to my ears, perhaps even comprable to nails on a chalkboard.</p>
<p>i am not sure why but i dont like rent. it may be that my friend also made me listen to their music alot before i actually saw it and i hated the music and then sat down to watch it with an already stereotypical perception of it…</p>
<p>i personally very much approve of all of the songs of the day. and tetris i definitely share your love of abba and rent - best songs to sing along to at the top of your lungs. 
keep them coming!</p>
<p>Oh, I’m not the Rent fan in these parts! Haha. I grew up on ABBA (my parents are huge fans), so the stuff has grown on me over the years :D. But nothing can beat alternative/indie rock for me :).</p>

<p>and while i love rent and abba, my actual taste in music is far more alternative too. i second that question about the phoenix concert - im so jealous!</p>

<p>This is pretty cool: we’re both alternative/indie fans who enjoy dabbling in other genres :D.</p>
