<p>@Adeyadi - there are two EDers, including myself, from my school. as far as i know the other guy was not contacted for his grades. </p>
<p>All a call can be is good. It means we are being considered. An acceptance is possible. That is the most we can hope for.</p>
<p>I don’t think they’ll weight the new grades too heavily. Many of us (myself included) are on a semester schedule and won’t have any new grades until acceptances have already been made. I don’t think that it’d be too fair to evaluate some on senior year grades but not others.</p>
<p>@Adeyadi It’s my pleasure to help! I’m not entirely certain who your counselor must call. I only know that my counselor has been in contact with my rep. I do wish I had further information.</p>
<p>I do think, however, as a general note, that everyone should calm down about the first quarter grades. There is such a wide spectrum of reasons for why Brown would request first quarter grades. Many people, including myself, sent them in with the initial application. It’s just another factor and can maintain both negative and positive influences and negative and positive effects. But either way, there is really no way of knowing. It’s all an enigma, this whole process.</p>

<p>Oh hey percentages are no problem…you don’t need to convert them to a GPA, they evaluate you using your numbers as they are.</p>

<p>oh guys i spoke to my guidance counselor today and she said that they really only call if they are on the fence about you. and she said that she is not calling them for me because the admissions director is not the one to make the decision. it is the admissions counselors so if she calls the admissions director of my region wouldnt need to remember my name because he/she is not the one to look over it. idk. most of the teachers and guidance counselors including my own have been on the admissions committees before so i kind of trust them. i dont know. this info should be straight forward. but you cant just call up brown and be like “should my guidance counselor call you so i could have a better chance?” lol. lets stop talking about this and concentrate on something else…=)</p>
