I think I’d like it there because I’m a bit (well, a lot) of a workaholic. I’m not sure what Brown student culture is like, though.

And when I mean “see” I don’t mean it literally. I mean like, believing it can actually happen as well. Like, seeing is believing, as corny as that saying is

Brown students are laid back but certainly not lazy I hear.

i spend half my life on the 2013 ed thread…

If I remember correctly, Google maps are about a year behind the current construction. Still a good way to get a sense of campus, though.

Brown students are very laid back. Some are lazy, but you’ll get that anywhere. Most are not lazy.

Obstinate, just convey that to Brown and you’ll be good. See, there are so many different answers any one of us can give to that Why Brown question. It’s a matter of choosing the most appropriate one, the one that screams ‘you’ the most.

and brown, of all people, will understand our individualism :)

(love how i just referred to brown as a person)

Yeah, the most appropriate is difficult to choose, because there are so many angles to go from, and it feels that with each one I write, I get closer to what I really want to say, and yet so much is left to be said at the same time.

Like I said, come October 20th, 2009 (I plan on sending mine in on the 21st, the anniversary of my favorite musician Elliott Smith’s death. Sort of symbolic, as like a new beginning) I’ll just sift through these dozens of drafts and go “Whoa I LOVE this one!!!” Haha

Chocolate, that is perfectly normal :). Seriously, I do the same too.

Oh, any more anti-Harvard and Princeton people here?

Elliott Smith!!! Haha Obstinate, you’ve made me fall in love with him :D

I once referred to Brown as my dream guy :p. My friends didn’t really get the analogy, but yeah whatever :p

I really, really like my Why Brown at the moment. I got through almost everything that I wanted to say about Brown, but I didn’t get to write as much as I’d love to (dude, I could write a five page essay for this question). Damn the character limit!

Hahahahaha YESSS!!! I swear, for me when it comes to unhealthy obsessions it goes:
- Elliott Smith
- Brown
- Scrubs

If someone got me into a conversation about all three I’d probably scare them within five minutes. Hahaha.

I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL!! I mean, 1600 characters? That’s like a sample, a little morsel of how much Brown means to me.

Brown is like my dream girl, and I longingly watch her from afar, secretly writing poems to her, in the hopes of one day wooing her with the perfect song :)

1600 characters is a crime to humanity

Whenever I mention other colleges around people, they always gasp and go “Wait, so no more Brown!?!!?!?”

how long is exactly 1600 characters?? lol. like i cant even picture it. I write 1600 word papers…

i know same on that swim…1600 characters is like 3/4 a page

That’s like a shopping list.

i think i’ve fallen in love with this university again …

we got a divorce and i married Columbia but then i came back to my old lover …

Yup, those big city girls can do a number on ya

Welcome back mate!

picking a college = falling in love
getting an acceptance letter = the proposal
sending in your housing deposit = sealing the deal :)

i should totally write an essay on that …

Brown is my girl friend. Please please marry me Brown and make me the happiest man alive!

dear brown. i want a ring that i can put on my finger. i want it to be many karats. love me
