<p>Can anyone tell me about the Music Department at Brown? D would like to continue her vocal and piano interests at college, perhaps a minor in music.</p>
<p>I can state that Brown doesn’t offer minors. As far as the music department, while I myself have not been a part of it, I have numerous friends who play in various ensembles (primarily string ones, though not exclusively), and I know a few people who have taken different music theory courses. As a whole, they’ve enjoyed the courses, although many found the theory sequence to be very time consuming and challenging.</p>
