The silver lining is Yale let more kids in this year in ED. UPenn reduced the number of ED acceptance spots this year vs last year.
Brown rejected more early pool than Yale did. Yale deferred more.
ya I got no expectations
how do you know what brown did already?
Scroll up - it is in this thread.
Yeah, I really don’t know what to expect. I’m trying to have low expectations and high hopes, but those two things have often… intermingled for me. Lol
found it. thanks
always imagined going there, but admissions, especially this year, are so unpredictable. bracing for the worst to hopefully be surprised.
Idk. Knowing how wild some of these decisions are brings me peace in a way. I guess because I know I’m not, like, the absolute applicant. So… maybe it’s good for me ???
good luck everyone! this really is a tough time! this will be the first decision for my son, but many of his friends have already heard from other ED/EA schools… mostly bad news, so I’m realistic (but a dad can hope!)
yes the EDs have been very tough this year. I love the message that U Chiacago put out on their website (even though decisions aren’t until Monday) basically saying how awesome the applicant pool was and how much they enjoyed getting to know everyone. In the end it’s a number game–too many fantastic applicants for too few spots.
all of my friends have gotten into their ED schools this week. I got some other good decision results but this is the one and I’m so nervous
yep- neither am I. Hope the like other parts of me to make up for the weaker parts
I believe in us We’re gonna do this!
happy and positive and miracle thoughts
Haha exactly
what time do the decisions come out? good luck to everyone
