Brown Class of 2025 ED

Does anyone else kind of feel like Schrödinger’s cat right now? I feel like I’m simultaneously accepted and denied (though the latter is much more likely). It’s so surreal.

Looking at all those videos are slowing things down.

Was the email’s subject line " 2021-22 College Board IDOC - An Additional School Has Requested Documents" ?

Yeah I actually didn’t send first quarter grades in and I didn’t get requested for them. It seems like a bad sign

should i be worried if i didnt get the additional request

No.

thank you. i’m just really scared i don’t think i’ll ever recover if i don’t get in.

@motherpossum Getting in would be amazing for you kids but not getting isn’t a statement on your abilities and capacity to reach your dreams. I know it will suck if you or my kiddo don’t get in, but your future will still be bright if you put in the work and hustle. I promise.

That’s weird…you sure its not from College Board IDOC? Brown’s Financial Aid Office wouldn’t directly email you until after the results come out. Nor have I heard anyone on Reddit or Discord say anything abt getting that “email” you received…

Are you sure? What I have seen is from Collegeboard IDOC: “The financial aid office at one or more of your college or scholarship programs collects additional documents, such as federal tax returns, from students and their families through the College Board’s Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC).”

I could be misinterpreting this

Who is the email from? College Board IDOC services or Brown Financial Aid Office?

Yeah it’s IDOC/college board. It was confusing because it was a different email

What date did you get that email, and are you an international?

So you didn’t get an email from Brown Financial Aid, only College Board?

Doesn’t matter when she got it. People only get those emails if they didn’t do the documents required by Brown. It has nothing to do with acceptances.

Just wondering, I’m pretty paranoid lol but is there a button that says withdraw application on your brown application pages? Not sure if that means I’m rejected or its just for everyone

Hey guys, wanted to ask if its the same for all of you. So my applicant portal still reads that the financial aid office has not yet started processing applications for the Class of 2025. I received an IDOC request from College board and submitted all the documents. The IDOC is indicating that all the financial aid documents have been received but still my Brown applicant portal still reads that. Please help!

also got from College board only indicating Brown wanted the IDOC and not an email from Brown itself. Not sure what that means.
