Here. Sent in supplemental art materials and About Me video. Also additional awards and recommendations. NO test scores though. Also made sure counselor sent in 1st quarter grades. I am a nervous wreck. My daughter is cool as a cucumber.
Did anyone get email about the ED being 12/10?
Portal shows they got the first quarter grades! Fingers crossed now!
I was wondering the same. Do they definitely send an email a week before? I guess by that standard they will send an email on the 10th for the 17th.
We might not get an email until around 7pm EST tonight since that’s usually when decisions come out. So if we get an email tonight, then decisions should be out on Thursday. If not, it’ll probably be the 17th.
Last year they emailed everyone on Tuesday. This was two days before decisions were released on Thursday. Look out for an email later today.
Some other ivies have announced their dates now and they are next week. They usually are all within 1-2 days of each other.
Hi everyone
I saw something about decisions coming out the 12th at 6pm
where did you see it??
I think I saw it somewhere on the website, and now I can’t find it again🙁
Maybe don’t take my word for that, but my guess is it would probably be around that date. I’m going to keep looking to try to find it again and let you guys know!
It was 12/12 in 2019 and that was on the website. I’ve not seen 2020 dates.
Ok thank you! I most likely misread it
Every time my phone notifies of a new email I hold my breath hoping it’s Brown announcing decision date.
Yes, I need to walk away from my phone.
take some deep breaths. as a brown applicant i know its scary but there are plenty of great schools and your daughter is gonna be just fine either way
You get your kid’s emails??
Not scared. Will be thrilled if he’s in. Just hate the waiting.
Sure do. I have access to all his college emails. He knows and is glad. Problem?
Problem? No. Just surprised. My parents don’t know anything about my process except what I share with them. And they actually know a lot about ivy admissions themselves but certainly don’t receive my emails. After all, I’m the student and the one going to college, not them. Good luck to your daughter! (ETA: sorry…son)
So, are we expecting a decision on the 17th?
I think that makes sense? If not, then within 1-2 days of that date. I know Cornell comes out on the 17th, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Brown does, too.
