<p>According to the Common App, Brown has a 2-year Fine Arts requirement. Does anyone know what this entails, and would elective suffice?</p>
<p>What? Brown doesn’t have formal admissions requirements like that in any subject. They “encourage study in music or art,” much as they like to see 4 years of 1 foreign language. People on this board have gotten in without the latter, and these are not hard requirements.</p>
