Art/music class requirement?

<p>ok so i asked my interviewer if the art/music class requirement was true and when she called the administration office they told her it WAS true</p>

<p>but then my cousin who is also applying called the administration office to ask about it and they said it was just a preference, not a requirement</p>

<p>first of all, why are they giving two different answers and which one is true?</p>
