<p>While not a formal program, opportunities at both one of the most read student daily newspapers and within the English and Literary Arts departments dealing with journalism, in addition to various other publications on campus may make Brown ideal to study for a career in journalism.</p>
<p>Learning journalism as a pre-profession track is likely to be tough with the number of writers decreasing. Have the skill and experience in journalism added with expertise in other areas may in fact be more valuable. </p>
<p>That is your call, however. We don't have really any pre-professional undergraduate degrees other than engineering and public health and both are "arguable".</p>
