<p>With programs as absurdly prestigious, I suppose what he has left to decide is what kind of campus culture and surroundings he wants.</p>
<p>Both schools and both medical programs are unbeatable. But how does he feel about New England? How does he feel about Texas? I mean, they’re pretty different neighborhoods, neighbors, and climates. Also, does he like the moderate structure of the Rice curriculum over the looseness of the Brown curriculum? Because while he’ll still take his pre-med courses, he will have plenty of other classes to take. Will he want the Open Curriculum to apply to those, or would he like more guidance than that?</p>
<p>I think, considering the solid opportunities he has academically, it’s time to evaluate the schools socially.</p>
