<p>What are they expecting from the two short answers?
It’s hard to really make these essays unique to me because of the limited character space. </p>
<p>Is admissions more interested in hearing what you have learned about Brown, or in learning more about you, the applicant?</p>
<p>Generally, any short essay will serve both purposes. Your answers tell more about you while showing what you know about the school and why you’d be a good fit. You don’t have to go crazy with creative responses, but you should whatever you write is consistent with what you say in your longer essays/your interview/whatever you imagine is in your recommendations (i.e. if people say you’re a good writer, make sure you show it).</p>
