Brown Transcript

Can anyone enlighten me about the transcript that Brown requires?

My teacher assured me that he sent in a transcript together with the secondary school report. Although the secondary school report was received, the transcript was still “missing.”

I am also having the same problem as you. Everything on my application seems complete but the transcript and they sent me an email making me notice this. Other portals such as the one from Duke don’t tell me this. Wonder if there’s anything wrong with their system or if it’s only us.

That’s why I said this process is so tedious! one sends the required docs and then it appears as missing!

I have that problem too. I’m thinking that it’s indicated as missing because they want to have an updated transcript from the first semester? Or maybe there was just a mass burning of transcripts and ours happened to be in the pile.

Exactly the same here!
Despite the fact that I sent the teacher’s recs, the SSR, the IS, and the transcripts in one envelope.
Hey do we need another counselor rec for the mid-year report?

Someone needs to call, but my guess is that what’s missing are your first semester grades.

Honestly, the fact that something was kept in the same envelope doesn’t mean that they haven’t lost it. You don’t know how Brown processes all of the things they receive, and, though your transcript and recommendation were submitted together, they may have been separated within Brown’s admissions office, for one reason or another. As well, they may have been lost. Just fax or mail your transcript once again, because if you call them on the phone, they’ll just reiterate what I said. Having an incomplete file is worse than receiving a transcript and then finding the one that was initially lost.
