<p>I was accepted last year, and I had a personal statement of over 1000 words (stated max was 500).</p>
<p>...but then again I had a lot to say -- it wasn't the same platitudinal tripe that I'm sure they read 3000x a day.</p>
<p>LawSchoolBound: You said in your other post that you had really great essays. I've written some already but not sure they're 'original' enough (about my time spent living in different places/countries, obviously why I want to transfer etc.). Could you give me any advice/tips? Also, how come you chose to stay at U of Michigan?</p>
<p>And...what were your stats like? I want to go, but I only have a 3.424 after one semester at CU Boulder (17 credit hours on top of a part time job, but still)...</p>
