Brown would be a reach for you. A majority of Brown applicants have the exact same background as you, and you have nothing that makes you stand out or that would grab a reader’s attention. Unless your essays are absolutely amazing, don’t be surprised if they reject you.
i get where you’re coming from, but izrk isn’t entirely off base. would you rather him sugar coat it and say that he has a solid chance? it’s pretty clear that this guys ECs are spectacular or anything, but thats alright. browns a reach for everyone too. if he didn’t want honest feedback, he wouldn’t have posted on cc. his comment wasn’t toxic at all imo.
Please let us know if you get in. I think your resume looks impressive but it’s like everyone needs a branding expert these days to make things stand out . Good luck!
It’s the unweighted gpa that matters, they’ll look at the transcript, see rigor (or not) and grades. B’s in courses related to the possible major (or lack of rigor in those) can affect more than B’s in electives do. Many applicants will have a 4.0, though your 790 and 760 will get you past that bar.
What major? The 4 score in USH coud be risky.
Canvassing for a candidate absolutely matters and should be included. Especially if you’re interested in poli sci or similar.
Otoh, if the only school peer involvement is FHS and MUN, try to reexamine and see if you inadvertently skipped other things you do.
