@dhizzy Brown doesn’t request IDOC from everyone, so it just means they have enough information from what you’ve given them already to calculate your aid package
@semperfi Thanks. The way they do it doesn’t make very much sense since everyone submits the same info in CSS and FAFSA. Why do some people need IDOC and others do not?
does anyone know if March 31 is “ivy day” in general, like is that the date for Harvard and Yale too?
@lolatthisprocess All ivys are releasing their decisions on Mar 31, including Hahvahd and Yale
@lolatthisprocess correct
I hope the Ivies end up releasing by this Saturday. Brown is the only ivy in which I’m interested, btw.
I don’t think they ever release ahead of schedule, do they?
Nah I don’t think so, the ivies are known to stick to their date when it’s set
Too bad. It would be great to not have to wait for another weekend…
@itworks yes Friday evening would be nice. Rather find out about decisions with my family than in physics class haha
Good luck to everyone! I remember being in your shoes back in December. Try to enjoy the weekend. Tuesday will be brutal! I hope you all get good news!
Hey everyone. I’m freaking out because i realized I accidentally sent in with my better SAT2 scores my lower ones too (670 in Bio-M and U.S History).
How negatively would this affect my application? Especially my application to PLME?
According to about.com, those SAT II scores are towards the lower end of the 50% (meaning 75% of admitted students have scores higher). May I ask what the higher ones were and/or if you took APs in either subject? Most colleges claim to only take into consideration one’s higher scores.
I’m sure it won’t hurt your application too much, if at all. It’s just a matter of if admissions liked your app enough! Good luck.
@coll1234 I got a 4 in US History. 800 Math 2, 760 Math 1, and 710 Physics
They only consider your top two subject test scores and your top SAT scores from each section across all sittings. I don’t think you should worry at all.
How bad is a 2190 SAT and 720 SP Non Native and 710 M2 for a Theatre Arts/Performance Studies and Comparative Lit applicant?
A 2190 is not even a bad score neither are above 700 subject test scores. The average SAT score is approximately 1500, so there really isn’t any reason to say your score is bad. Decisions come out in less than a week, try to relax.
@jazzdancer2102
Thise are great test scores. If you don’t get in, it probably won’t be because of that.
@coll1234 leaving it to luck!
@Jazzdancer2102, those scores are a bit better than mine, so I sure hope they’re good enough.
