My son’s grades were requested as well. Similarly, I thought it meant they were showing an interest but their website states "Early Decision applicants are required to have their counselor submit first quarter or trimester grades as soon as they are available. ".
I have read from the internet the acceptance rate for Ed is 12.97%….that means most likely 12-15% increase in the number of applicants.

I wish good luck to everyone tomorrow night. It seems like Brown gets more applications each year making it harder and harder. It’s a long shot for us. Fingers crossed.

I just heard applications for ED is up 21%. This is from my daughter. Not sure of the source.

879 acceptance
20% deferred
67% rejected

Skeptical of above. My understanding is Brown does not defer. ED provides a final decision. We’ll see in just over an hour!

Last year Brown deferred 25% of ED applicants and this year it is around 20%.
