My portal has this message- “First Year Applicants on the Waiting List: We will be making a small number of admission offers from our wait list, on a rolling basis, through mid-June. All applicants on Brown’s wait list will remain under active consideration through mid-June. We do not release wait list decisions online, and instead will send applicants paper letters with the final admission decision.”
So maybe not today, but they will be going to the waitlist.

I’m pretty sure they always say through mid-June. I really feel like there’ll be a day in mid-May when they’ll let in a sizable batch of wait list kids since that’s what they’ve done the past few years…and then maybe a couple more people will get in in June?
Do you guys think they’ll still make phone calls or are they really just going to mail decisions?

Got a call today informing me I have been admitted off the waitlist! They said they mailed the package today but wanted to let me know early by phone.

@lighthouse1a1 Honestly, I didn’t really catch a name (picked up the phone thinking it was going to be some dumb spam call), but I’m guessing it was my regional admissions rep. I live in New England, and got the call around 3:30 PM.
Curious what your test scores, GPA, etc. are? Is there something you think made you stand out? Congrats!!
@scoutyboy 35 ACT, ~3.85 GPA, white guy from NE. Didn’t apply for FA which I have heard can help with a waitlist. Other than that, no idea what made them choose me.
