here namaste: from the site

We're glad you'll be here in the Fall!

Move-In Week for Fall Quarter 2006 will be on Friday, September 22nd through September 25th.

Fall Quarter 2006 meal plan service begins with dinner on Sunday, September 24th, in dining rooms at each of the Residential Restaurants: Covel, De Neve, Hedrick, and Rieber; and the Boutique locations. Prior to dinner on September 24th, UCLA On-Campus Housing Residents will be able to use their meal plan "gratis" in select locations. Those without a UCLA Dining Services meal plan between September 22-25 may purchase a meal voucher for $5.00 at the residence hall front desk during that time.

Sounds weird. wht are us move in asstaints supposed to do (assuming im accepted... which is a maybe :P

we get free meals until the meal plan is activated. :)

As of now, my account balance for the Bruin Card is $0.00 for the "BRUINCARD FOOD SERVICE ONLY". That just means it hasn't been activated until 9/24, right?

i wonder if they'll limit it to one swipe per meal period  ;)

your account balance will never show the meal swipes you have since its in the form of "swipes" and not actual dollar amounts.

when you register your bruincard, what did you put as your mailing adress, your home adress or the on campus housing one??????

Register ?

to view your account online

Oh. Never did that. :D

is there somewhere we can check how many swipes we've used that week?

You just look for your balance (for the week on non-P or quarter on P) on the swipe machine when you're swiping for something.
