bruincard

you can also add money online via credit card at www.bruincard.ucla.edu

anyone know if deneve uses that system for the laundry, or quarters?

De Neve used quarters when I lived there (two years ago).

aww, darn...

can u check how many meal swipes you used or how many u have left somewhere?

Is one required to have BruinDirect?

hsiehinator: you can check when you swipe in at any of the dining halls.

dragon17: not required but strongly recommended

What are the benefits? I'm not expecting any reimbursements or financial aid.

Well, if you're positive you won't be receiving any reimbursements at all, then you don't need bruindirect. Bruindirect is just a very quick, convenient way for students to get their leftover finaid into their bank accounts. No hassles basically.

Well it depends on your building. I lived in Evergreen last year and you need the BruinCard EasyPay for laundry. My friend lived in Birch and they used quarters.

Acacia and Birch use quarters. Cedar, Dogwood, Evergreen, and Fir use bruincard.
