Does anyone know which school is better Brunwick( Greenhich Connecticut) or Rye Country Day(Rye New York)
Also what is the culture of Rye Country Day: spoiled brats?

They are both excellent schools with strong academic and sporting reputations. It would be very hard to describe one as better than the other.

In terms of differences, RCDS is a bit closer to NYC and draws students from a wider geographic area, it is probably a bit more diverse. RCDS is coed, Brunswick is boys, but Brunswick has an adjacent sister school Greenwich Academy and in high school students can take classes in either school. RCDS is a tiny bit more progressive, they do not wear uniforms, they are not quite as sports focused as Brunswick, but they still have really competitive teams in most sports. Brunswick is a bit more traditional. Both have large endowments for day schools, and many of the students at both schools are from wealthy families.

College acceptances are very strong at both schools, RCDS got 5 to 10 kids into Harvard each year for the last two years (out of a class of about 100)

RCDS

Thanks!
Also does anyone know how they compare to St pauls and Groton etc

Do you know how they compare to HADES and Groton

Well aside from the obvious fact that both are day schools, the main difference is that the schools are smaller, with approximately 90 students per grade in 9th through 12th. As both schools start at K that also means that very few new students join at 9th. Both schools have approximately 15 new places at 9th grade, and some of those will be reserved for siblings or children of the faculty. RCDS and Brunswick give preference to siblings, alumni and faculty.
